About me

My name is Ken Patterson.  I live in Moira and have been a first aid trainer with one of the leading first aid training organisations in the UK for many years, a member of the Salvation Army in Lurgan, and go out on duty with Belfast Street Pastors.  I am passionate about teaching first aid, and as a Christian, my mission is to teach first aid to churchgoers throughout Northern Ireland.  I am also qualified to teach the use of Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs)
TRAINING EXPERIENCE
I have the Level 3 Education & Training Award, as well as NVQ qualifications in training and assessing and have delivered training to a wide variety of customers including:
  • Hamilton Road Presbyterian Bangor
  • Sligo and Castleblayney Presbyterian churches
  • Belfast, Newtownabbey and Coleraine Street Pastors
  • Lurgan and Ballymoney Salvation Army Corps
  • Knock Methodist, 
  • Acquired the RCN AllergyWise for Healthcare Professionals certificate

ADMINISTERING FIRST AID - EXPERIENCE
I have attended numerous events as a First Aider and in the past, as an ambulance driver and attendant.  I am also called upon to administer first aid from time to time when out on duty with Belfast Street Pastors.
